Hi, my name is Pati!

If your busy schedule has you feeling stuck in a rut in the kitchen, serving the same old meals, or even resorting to takeout more often than you’re willing to admit, you’ve found a kindred spirit.

Being a stay-at-home mom came with a lot of perks, but I was still telecommuting part-time and feeding four boys. Read that again: FOUR. I understand the struggle of making weeknight dinners be both quick and satisfying, as well as the weight of uncomfortable questions about nutritional value.

Night after night, it seemed like when I could get healthy meals on the table that didn’t require me to become Gordon Ramsay, the kids would be back in the kitchen hours later looking for snacks! Cranky, growing teenagers are a terror, but knowing they were filling up on junk food felt even worse.

Like you, I’ve felt the frustration of uninspiring meals and the guilt that often follows indulging in fast food. Pinterest offered many good solutions, but it was often difficult to keep track of everything, even when I made my own boards. Eventually, I had hundreds of recipes to go through! I had organized my way into a new problem. It was this ongoing battle that inspired me to create this blog.
